The Alpha Phi Omega Zeta Lambda Chapter successfully conducted the “Libreng Sakay Para Sa’yo, Mula sa APO” community service project on February 27, 2026, along the Paoay–Batac–Laoag route in Ilocos Norte. The activity operated from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, utilizing one jeepney to provide free transportation services to commuters traveling within the designated route.
The project was organized as part of the chapter’s continuing commitment to public service and community engagement. Throughout the day, numerous passengers benefited from the free rides, particularly workers, students, and residents who regularly commute between Paoay, Batac City, and Laoag City. By offering complimentary transportation, the project helped ease the financial burden of daily travel while promoting goodwill and community solidarity.
The activity also served as an opportunity for APO members to demonstrate the organization’s core principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Through teamwork, dedication, and volunteerism, the members successfully carried out the project and positively impacted the community. The success of the “Libreng Sakay Para Sa’yo, Mula sa APO” initiative reflects the chapter’s unwavering commitment to serving others and fostering meaningful community relations.
