On 22 October 2006, during the 32nd Anniversary Celebration of the Alpha Phi Omega Zeta Lambda Chapter, a small group of alumni gathered to celebrate the chapter’s anniversary, rekindle friendships, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.
It was during this memorable gathering that Bro. Norberto R. Abasta ’91, Bro. Christopher Aladin ’92, Bro. Marcos Y. Bautista ’87, Bro. Joey de Leon ’98, Bro. Albert R. Gapuzan ’97, Sis. Leilani F. Licupa ’97, Bro. Jonathan F. Sanchez ’00, and Sis. Cherrie Pie E. Vidal ’03 shared the vision of establishing an alumni association for the Zeta Lambda Chapter.
Their idea was to create an organization that would unite alumni from different generations, provide meaningful support to Zeta Lambda Chapter, and foster lasting engagement among alumni members.
Although the association was not yet formally organized at the time, this conversation marked the beginning of a vision that would build on the enduring ideals of Leadership, Friendship, and Service.
